Foo Fighters, Kasabian to headline the Isle of Wight Fest
Foo Fighters are the latest act to be announced as headliners at next year's Isle of Wight festival.
The US rockers join Kings of Leon, a reunited Pulp and Kasabian at Seaclose Park.
The festival, celebrating its 10th anniversary, takes place between Friday 10 and Sunday 12 June 2011 with tickets going on sale this Friday (19 November).
Foo Fighters last played the Isle of Wight in 2006 and are halfway through recording their seventh studio album.
John Giddings, the festival's promoter, said: "What band is more fitting to bring back for our 10th birthday than the Foos? They gave it their all in 2006 and have only become bigger and better since."
A full camping ticket will cost 拢175 with non camping passes going for 拢150.
Foo Fighters appear at the Isle of Wight festival on Saturday 11 June.
The band is also playing two dates at the Milton Keynes Bowl on 2 and 3 July next year with support from Biffy Clyro, Death Cab For Cutie and Jimmy Eat World.
