Take That century's 'fastest selling' album
Take That's Progress album has become the fastest selling album of the century, following a record first day of sales.
According to the Official Charts Company, more than 235,000 copies have been sold since it went on sale yesterday (15 November).
This is the first album the band has released as a five piece in 15 years.
Between them, Take That and Robbie Williams have sold more than 80 million albums.
The first single, The Flood, entered the chart last week at number two, securing the band their 16th top five single.
The opening figure is the biggest first day sale for an album this century - the biggest since Oasis's Be Here Now scored just more than 424,000 in 1997.
Earlier this month, ticket sales for next year's Progress tour broke all records.
It is the fastest and biggest selling tour in UK history with a total of 1.34 million tickets sold.
The first million were sold in just eight hours.
Take That's last album (as a four piece), The Circus, sold one million copies in 18 days.
