AC/DC first headliner confirmed for Download Festival
AC/DC have been confirmed as headliners for this year's Download festival.
The Australian rockers will top the bill at the event held at Donington Park between 11-13 June.
Joining them on the weekend will be Dave Grohl's side project Them Crooked Vultures, Deftones, Stone Temple Pilots, Bullet For My Valentine and Wolfmother.
Trash veterans Megadeth are also on the bill along with Motorhead, who play the festival for the fourth time.
Tickets for the event, now with an expanded capacity of 110,000, go on sale on Friday 29 January with a weekend pass costing from 拢145.
Last year's festival saw performances from The Prodigy, Enter Shikari, Limp Bizkit, Slipknot and Pendulum.
