Pogues singer Shane MacGowan teams up with The Priests
The Priests have teamed up with Pogues frontman Shane MacGowan to record a version of Christmas song Peace on Earth/Little Drummer Boy.
The song, recorded by David Bowie and Bing Crosby in 1977, is on the singing priests' album Noel, out on 6 December.
The Priests' Father Eugene O'Hagan said the pairing showed "how music builds bridges and brings us into creative contact with unlikely partnerships".
The Pogues had a 1987 festive hit with Fairytale of New York.
The song, featuring the late Kirsty MacColl, was kept off the Christmas number one spot by the Pet Shop Boys' Always on My Mind.
The new version of Peace on Earth/Little Drummer Boy is set for release on 12 December.
The Priests, Fathers Eugene and Martin O'Hagan, and Father David Delargy, all from Northern Ireland, had a number five UK hit with their self-titled debut album in 2008.
