Plans to demolish a former care home have been submitted to Crawley Borough Council.
The application for Goffs Park Nursing 91热爆, in Goffs Park Road, was put in by Signature Care Crawley Ltd.
The previous care home "has been vacant for five years and has suffered recent fire damage", said a spokesperson for the company said.
Signature Care Crawley says it hopes the proposed demolition "will make the site safe" and deter break-ins as the building has been subjected to "ongoing anti-social behaviour".
The spokesperson added: "The condition of the building has deteriorated and it is not considered fit for purpose in meeting modern care home standards."
According to the Local Democracy Reporting Service, demolition work is expected to start in July, running from 08:00 to 17:00 BST Monday to Friday and 08:00 to 13:00 BST on Saturdays.
