Isle of Man passport fees to rise by a further 7%
The cost of a new passport on the Isle of Man is set to rise for the second time in six months in April.
The fee for renewing an adult standard will increase by 7.5% to 拢100 next month.
It follows a 9% rise in late October, which saw the price go up from 拢85 to 拢93.
The Manx government said the changes, which will also see an adult Express Service application fee increase from 拢165.50 to 拢178, mirrored rises in the UK.
A government spokesman said the changes, which come into force on 11 April, would apply to all new applications, renewals and replacement passports.
"The adjustment in fees is necessary for the Isle of Man Variant British Passport to align with the fees set by HM Passport Office," he said.
People should check the validity of their passports well in advance of travel to "avoid any inconvenience or processing delay and to allow themselves time to complete new application forms and obtain photos or other supporting documentation", he added.
