Man admits killing motorcyclist in crash
A driver has admitted killing a motorcyclist in a crash in South Yorkshire last year.
At Sheffield Crown Court on Friday, Peter Tancos, 39, pleaded guilty to causing the death by careless driving of 51-year-old David Bartley on 1 February 2023.
Richard Adams, Tancos' defence barrister, told the court his client had undergone counselling following the crash which happened on Hellaby Lane, near Rotherham.
Tancos, of Belmont Street, Rotherham, was granted unconditional bail ahead of sentencing at the same court on 4 October.
