Fresh appeal for information over Davidson murder
Police investigating the murder of Kevin Davidson are appealing for information regarding an incident on the Lisburn Road area of south Belfast in July.
Mr Davidson, 34, was last seen in south Belfast on 9 July.
Officers from the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) discovered his body at a property in Donegall Avenue on 20 July.
Two people, a 32-year-old man and a 35-year-old woman, have since been charged with his murder.
Altercation
On Friday, Det Insp Jennifer Rea issued a specific appeal for information and released images of a car following an incident in the early hours of 9 July.
Det Insp Rae said at 12:24 BST on 9 July, 鈥渢here appears to have been an altercation on the Lisburn Road, at the junction of Elmwood Avenue, which we believe involved the occupants of a white car鈥.
She is appealing to the driver and passengers of this car to contact police as soon as possible.
The driver and/or occupants of a dark car, which was being driven and may have stopped in the Lisburn Road/Elmwood Avenue area between 12.22 BST and 12.30 are being asked to get in touch with police.
鈥淚 believe you may have information that could assist our enquiries,鈥 Det Insp Rae said.
