Three arrested and drugs seized in police raid

Three people have been arrested and a quantity of drugs found in a police raid.

Officers targeted a property in the Longpool area of Kendal on Friday morning and seized 2kg (4.4lb) of suspected methamphetamines.

Two men, aged 28 and 48, and a 21-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs.

They all remained in custody for questioning, Cumbria Police said.
