A jury has been sworn in for a trial concerning half a tonne (500kg) of cocaine found in a village pub car park.
The National Crime Agency said the drugs were found in a van at the Stags Head Inn at Lelley on 4 May and had a potential street value of 拢40m.
Mark Moran, 23, of Glenfyne Terrace, Ardrishaig, and Anthony McAllister, 33, of Aldersyde, Taynuilt, both deny charges of conspiracy to import and supply Class A drugs.
The hearing at Hull Crown Court is estimated to last more than a week.
The arrests took place following an operation supported by Humberside Police, the Yorkshire and Humber Regional Organised Crime Unit and Border Force.
