Investigation under way after body found in car

An investigation has been launched after a man's body was found in a car, police said.

Officers were called to Lambert Street, off Newland Avenue, at 16:00 BST on Wednesday and the area was cordoned off.

Humberside Police said its inquiries were in the early stages and the death was being treated as unexplained.

The man's family has been informed and is being supported by officers, the force added.
