Morphine goes missing from parked ambulance
Police have issued a warning to the public after morphine was reported missing from an ambulance.
Merseyside Police said a phial of morphine was taken from the ambulance on Lace Street, in Islington, Liverpool, on Tuesday.
A spokesman said: "Officers are reminding people that taking any medication which has not been prescribed for them can be dangerous and, in some circumstances, can prove fatal."
He added anyone who found the medication was asked to hand it in to any pharmacy or police station.
