Two seriously hurt after car and lorry crash on A9
Two people have been badly injured in a crash involving a car and a lorry on the A9 near Invergordon.
The 56-year-old female passenger of the black BMW was described as being in a critical condition following the collision that happened near Delny Muir at about 10:30 on Tuesday.
The 22-year-old male driver of the car was seriously injured. They were both taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment.
The lorry driver was not hurt, while the road around the scene of the crash was closed for about eight hours to allow for an investigation.
