Traffic restrictions planned for flood works
- Author, Tess Rushin

Traffic restrictions are to be put in place on a busy Leicestershire road for eight days.
Leicestershire County Council said parking restrictions would be enforced on Ratby Road in Groby from 17 June to allow Severn Trent Water and contractors to undertake investigatory works as part of a flood alleviation scheme.
The measures will be in place as part of a temporary traffic regulation order (TTRO).
Two-way traffic lights will be in place as part of the TTRO and alternative routes will be available to all traffic, the Local Democracy Reporting Service said.
