Teen charged after three injured in knife attack

A teenager has been charged after three people were injured in a knife attack in Brighton.
A group of friends were reportedly pursued by two people in Gardner Street at 23:00 GMT on 12 January.
A man and a woman, both aged 20, suffered series knife injuries and an 18-year-old woman was seriously injured in the assault, police said.
A 17-year-old boy from Brighton has been charged with two counts of causing grievous bodily harm with intent, assault, possessing an offensive weapon in a public place and assaulting a police constable.
The boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was remanded pending his next court appearance.
Another 17-year-old was previously arrested in relation to the assaulted and bailed with strict conditions, pending further enquiries.
