Falling debris 'narrowly missed' pedestrian
A Belfast city centre bus lane has reopened after being shut earlier on Thursday when part of a building collapsed.
The incident happened on Wellington Place at about 11:15 BST.
Translink inspector Michael Bremner told 91热爆 News NI that one of his drivers had been walking past at the time masonry fell from the building, "narrowly missing" him.
"We were both shocked. With the loud bang people came out of the building so I told them to stay where they were and I phoned emergency services," he said.
It is understood that a section of the parapet above a gaming centre collapsed.
The bus lane closure caused minor disruption to Translink services, Mr Bremner added.
Police confirmed that nobody had been injured.
