Man charged with attempted murder on Larbert train
A 46-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder after an attack with a weapon on a train going to Larbert.
British Transport Police said a man in his 20s was in serious condition in hospital, while a second man in his 20s has been released after treatment.
The incident happened at around 19:40 on Friday when there was a large police presence around Larbert train station.
The 46-year-old has also been charged with assault and possession of an offensive weapon and will appear at Falkirk sheriff court on Monday.
British Transport Police said a report would be prepared for the Procurator Fiscal.
