A drug dealer who was caught in the act has been jailed for three years.

Nottinghamshire Police said Dominik Chlebek was found in a car with cocaine, MDMA and cannabis along with a list of clients.

He was sentenced on Friday at Nottingham Crown Court after pleading guilty to possessing a Class A drug with intent to supply and further charges of supplying amphetamine and cannabis.

Police described the 41-year-old as "a prolific drug dealer" who was selling at least three drugs to customers "on a regular basis".

Officers were alerted to suspicious activity in the early hours of 26 December 2020 and came across Chelbek in a BMW off London Road, Newark.

He was found to be in possession of two tin foil wraps containing a white rock-like substance, which turned out to be the Class B drug amphetamine, two bags of pills, which proved to be Class A drug MDMA, three sealed bags of cannabis, a quantity of cash and a dealer鈥檚 list.

Chlebek, of Yorke Drive, Newark, was arrested and his mobile phone was seized.

More drugs and paraphernalia were found at a flat linked to Chlebek.

PC Haddon Smith said: "I鈥檓 pleased our investigation resulted in harmful drugs being removed from our streets and Chlebek is now serving time behind bars."
