Police appeal after girl, 13, attacked in woods
A 13-year-old girl has been sexually assaulted in woods in South Yorkshire.
The teenager was walking alongside Wickersley Woods in Rotherham, when she was allegedly pulled into the woods and attacked.
It happened at around 12:00 BST on either Saturday 11 or Sunday 12 May, although South Yorkshire Police have only now released details of the incident
The girl's attacker is described as being of a similar age or slightly older than the victim.
He is believed to be white with freckles, have blue eyes, a large nose and is around 5ft 9 ins tall .
He is also said to have a strong Scottish accent.
Anyone with information about the attack is asked to contact the police.
