Witness appeal over motorcyclist's crash death

Officers investigating a crash in Doncaster which led to a motorcyclist's death have appealed to anyone with information to contact them.

South Yorkshire Police said the incident took place on the A19 in Askern at about 17:30 GMT on Friday.

The three-vehicle crash, involving a Yamaha motorcycle, a Land Rover Evoque and a Seat Leon, happened between the junction of Manor Way and the junction of Rockley Lane, a force spokesperson said.

Police also asked for anyone with dash cam or CCTV footage from the scene at around the time of the crash to get in touch.

The spokesperson said the man's family was being supported by officers.
