Police probe 'targeted attack' after shots fired
Gunshots were fired and a glass bottle was thrown at a house in what police have described as a "targeted attack".
Officers were called at 17:22 BST on Monday following reports of a firearms discharge on Chalmers Drive in Doncaster.
Four men were seen getting out of a vehicle before one fired a shotgun at a property and a bottle was thrown, South Yorkshire Police said. No-one was injured.
The force has appealed for anyone with information to come forward.
Police said another member of the group had been seen with an "unknown weapon".
Det Insp Claire Moss added: "Officer patrols have been increased in the local area to ensure that residents feel safe."
