Appeal after cat shot and killed
Police are investigating after a cat was shot and killed.
The cat was shot with a small metal ball near Malham Road, Stonydelph, between 19:00 and 20:30 BST on Saturday 27 April.
It was taken for emergency treatment, but sadly died, said Staffordshire Police, which was made aware of the shooting in the early hours of Sunday.
Anybody with information that could help the investigation has been urged to call 101.
