'Much-loved' father died in multi-vehicle crash in Airdrie
Police have named a 58-year-old man killed in crash involving three cars and a bus in North Lanarkshire.
Frank Hooper was driving on Stirling Street in Airdrie town centre at about 15:25 on Friday when his car was in collision the bus and two cars.
He was taken to hospital but pronounced dead a short time later.
In a tribute, his family said: 鈥淔rank was a much-loved husband, father and grandfather and will be missed by all who knew him.鈥
No other injuries were reported. The road was closed for a short time but has since reopened.
Road Policing Sergeant Nick Twigg said: 鈥淥ur thoughts remain with the family and friends of Mr Hooper.
鈥淚nquiries to establish the full circumstances are ongoing and anyone who has not already spoken to officers
