Man charged with attempted murder after boys hurt

A man has been charged with attempted murder after reports two boys were attacked and seriously injured in Warwickshire.
Dale Gardiner, 40, from Studley, was also charged with wounding with intent and possessing an offensive weapon in a public place, police said.
It relates to an incident just before midnight on Saturday in which police were called to an assault with a bladed weapon on Rowland Avenue, Studley.
Mr Gardiner is due to appear in Coventry Magistrates' Court on Monday for his first hearing.
The boys received first aid from members of the public at the scene and were taken to hospital for treatment, police previously said.
