Attempted murder charge after Devizes stabbing

A man has been charged with attempted murder following a stabbing which led to the victim being taken to hospital by air ambulance.

Police were called to Estcourt Street in Devizes just after 12:30 BST on Saturday after reports of a man in his 20s being stabbed.

Kubilay Bostanli, 26, from Anzio Road, Devizes, has been charged with attempted murder, assault by beating, assault of an emergency worker, harassment and possession of a knife.

He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Salisbury Magistrates Court later today.
