Body found by pier in River Thames
Emergency services were called to a pier in Kent after reports a body had been found in the River Thames.
Kent Police said it was called to the scene near Royal Pier Road, in Gravesend, at 12:41 BST on Friday.
The force said officers attended along with paramedics, the coastguard and the RNLI.
A spokesperson for the force said at 20:23 that its officers were still at the scene.
