Hot meals for primary schools on course - panel
Plans are on course for all Jersey primary schools to provide hot meals by the end of 2024, a panel has heard.
The Children, Education and 91热爆 Affairs Scrutiny Panel was told how hot food was currently available in 10 schools.
Rouge Bouillon and St Saviour joined in April and First Tower school will serve them from September.
Some parents are coming in to help and Education has employed 30 staff to provide the meals.
Deputy Rob Ward, Minister for Education, said: "Seeing children sitting down eating together is just wonderful."
