Man released in Creeslough explosion investigation
A man in his 60s who was arrested by garda铆 (Irish police) investigating an explosion in Creeslough, County Donegal, in 2022, has been released without charge.
The blast, which killed 10 people, happened at a service station in the village on 7 October 2022.
The victims - four men, three women, two teenagers and a five-year-old girl - were from the village or surrounding areas.
Garda铆 said the man had been arrested on Thursday for alleged offences contrary to the Non-Fatal Offences Against the Person Act 1997.
A file will now be sent to the Director of Public Prosecutions.
Creeslough is a small village in the north-west of Ireland, about 15 miles (24km) from Letterkenny and 30 miles (48km) from the border with Northern Ireland.
It has a population of about 400 people.
The investigation is being co-ordinated from Milford Garda station, with support from the Garda National Bureau of Criminal Investigation and other agencies.
