Biker, 67, killed in crash with van near Larbert

A 67-year-old biker has been killed in a crash with a van near Larbert.

The incident happened at about 11:50 on Thursday on Bellsdyke Road at the junction with Kincardine Road.

The motorcyclist, who has not been named, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police Scotland said the van driver was not injured in the collision and the road was closed for about six hours.

Officers have to come forward.

Sgt Scott Kirkpatrick said: 鈥淢y thoughts are with the family and friends of the man who died. We will continue to offer them support as our investigations continue.

鈥淲e鈥檝e already spoken to a number of witnesses but I鈥檇 like to appeal to anyone else who saw what happened or has information which may assist our inquiries."
