Car fire being treated as arson say police
A car fire in Devon is suspected to have been started deliberately, Devon and Cornwall Police said.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the fire, which happened on St Leonard's Road in Honiton, Devon, at about 03:30 BST on Sunday.
CCTV footage from a nearby house in the area showed "an unknown assailant" break the window of the car - a white Vauxhall Mokka - and place an accelerant inside, police said.
The force said the suspect - who appeared to be wearing a baseball cap - ran off in the direction of Beggars Lane.
They said the assailant may have suffered some burns to their clothing.
