Suspected WW2 bomb found by landscaper
A residential street in Worcester was evacuated after a World War Two bomb was found by a landscape gardener.
A 100m cordon was placed on Stephenson Road following the discovery on Thursday morning
Police said the item was removed by a specialist Explosive Ordnance Disposal team and destroyed in a controlled explosion.
Det Ch Insp James Bamber said the cordon had since been lifted and people had returned to their homes.
