Police have appealed for information after a man was found with life-threatening injuries in Wakefield.

West Yorkshire Police said Patrick Glogowski, who is 29 and from Wakefield, was discovered at about 10:00 BST on Sunday on Birch Street.

Mr Glogowski was taken to hospital with injuries described as "life-threatening" by a police spokesperson.

The spokesperson said officers want to speak to anyone who may have information about how he sustained his injuries and his movements between Saturday and Sunday.

They said Mr Glogowski was wearing a white t-shirt and dark jeans when he was found.
