Funding secured to save 27 Gaelic development jobs
The Scottish government says it will provide extra funding to save 27 jobs at Gaelic development agency B貌rd na G脿idhlig.
The community officers promote the Gaelic language and culture through local projects across Scotland.
Government funding for the roles had come to an end.
But ministers have agreed an initial payment of 拢175,000 to support the jobs, and have asked B貌rd na G脿idhlig to carry out a review of the community scheme to help guide what further funding might be needed.
