Man who died after being hit by car is named
A 50-year-old man who died after he and a fellow pedestrian were hit by a car in Paisley has been named by police.
Stephen Craig, from Coatbridge, North Lanarkshire, died in hospital on 22 September.
He had been struck by a car on Hawkhead Road in Paisley four days earlier.
Mr Craig's family have released a statement, saying: 鈥淪tephen was a devoted husband and father. His loss has been devastating for all who knew him.鈥
The other man involved in the incident, who was aged 40, was also taken to hospital for treatment for serious injuries.
Sgt Scott Gourlay said: 鈥淥ur thoughts remain with Stephen鈥檚 family at this very difficult time.
