Arrest after TVs and trumpet stolen from town hall
A 41-year-old man has been arrested after Peterborough City Council said two TVs, a laptop and a trumpet were stolen from the town hall.
Police were called to the building on Bridge Street at 07:30 BST on Monday following a burglary during the night.
The city council said minor damage was caused to the building, but it would be "made safe and repaired in due course".
Cambridgeshire Police said: "Thieves broke into the premises and stole a large television. The arrested man remains in custody."
