Manslaughter charge more than two years after death
A man has been charged with manslaughter more than two years after another man's death in Shropshire.
Paul Wilkins, 58, from Wellington, Telford, died in hospital five days after an attack in Westerdale Close, Doseley, at about 20:00 BST on 5 April 2022, West Mercia Police said.
David Lane, of Portley Road, Dawley, Telford, was charged on Wednesday with manslaughter.
The 46-year-old is due to appear at Telford Magistrates' Court on 27 August.
