Bodies of man and woman in their 80s found in river
The bodies of a man and a woman in their 80s have been found after police searched a river in the Cambridgeshire Fens.
Police were called to Chain Bridge near March at about 08:35 BST on Saturday, following reports of concern for the welfare of a couple.
The woman's body was discovered in the water on Saturday afternoon and the man's on Sunday afternoon.
Police are not treating the deaths as suspicious and have passed their files to the coroner.
Before the discovery, Det Insp Lee Womack said he would like to appeal to anyone who was driving in the area on 10 July and may have dashcam footage of a silver Vauxhall Astra, or the man and woman, to get in touch.
