Pedestrian in serious condition after being hit by car
A 42-year-old pedestrian is in hospital in a serious condition after she was hit by a car in Fife.
On Saturday at about 20:45, officers responded to reports of the incident, which involved the woman and a red Audi A3.
The incident happened on Lochleven Road, Lochore, in Lochgelly.
She was taken to Dundee's Ninewells hospital, where medical staff have described her condition as serious.
Police Scotland are now investigating the crash.
Sgt Jamie Humpage said: "I would ask anyone who may have witnessed the crash, or who may have dash-cam footage from the area at the time to as soon as possible."
