First responder charity in emergency funding appeal
An Easter Ross charity that responds to medical emergencies and helps search for missing people is making an urgent appeal for financial assistance.
Emergency Community Rescue has 10 volunteers who work with the Scottish Ambulance Service as first responders for people in need of medical help.
However, the charity needs expensive repairs on its car to keep it on the road.
Charity founder Michael O'Neil said "countless lives" had been saved because of the group but they were effectively grounded until the situation with their car could be sorted out.
