House gutted in night-time blaze

A blaze has ripped through a home in the middle of a housing estate.

Firefighters were called to the property on Sunny Close in Costessey on the outskirts of Norwich just before 20:10 BST on Monday.

Crews from Attleborough, Carrow, Earlham and Sprowston attended and used breathing apparatus while bringing the fire under control.

Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service has been contacted for more details.
