Police car damaged as emergency services attacked
Masonry was thrown towards police officers and firefighters during disorder in the Lower Falls area of west Belfast on Sunday night.
No injuries were reported but a police car was damaged during the incident, a Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) statement said.
Officers went to the scene at about 22:00 BST following reports that a large crowd had gathered in the area.
Firefighters were also deployed because an industrial bin was set on fire.
Both emergency services were then targeted by people throwing masonry and other objects.
The PSNI said the crowd dispersed by about 23:00.
