Light aircraft makes emergency landing in field
A light aircraft has made an emergency landing in a field on the Ards Peninsula in County Down.
Emergency sevices attended the scene in the Abbacy Road area of Portaferry where the aircraft came down.
Police said they received a call at around 12:00 BST. They said the two people on board exited the aircraft and had not sustained serious injury.
The Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service, ambulance service and air ambulance also attended the incident.
