A historic pub in Warwickshire that claims it was where the song It's A Long Long Way To Tipperary was written has announced it is permanently closing.
The Tipperary Inn in Balsall Common said: "Despite our best efforts, we have been unable to navigate the challenges brought on by the current economic climate".
The pub's directors thanked their customers, adding that they would "always cherish" the relationships they had made.
Harry Williams, one of the song's composers, lived at the pub before World War One when the song was adopted by soldiers.
A statement on the pub's website said: "It is with heavy hearts that we announce the permanent closure of Tipperary Inn.
"Despite our best efforts, we have been unable to navigate the challenges brought on by the current economic climate.
"We want to express our sincerest gratitude for your patronage and support over the years.
"It has been a privilege to serve you, and we are truly grateful for the memories we have shared together."
The directors added: "Thank you for being a part of the Tipperary family."
