Boy, 17, dies in hospital after e-bike crash with car
A 17-year-old e-bike rider has died in hospital two weeks after a crash with a car in Grangemouth.
Aaron McPherson was taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary with serious injuries after the late-night incident on Thursday 30 May. He died on Saturday.
Police Scotland said it was still investigating the collision on the town's Portal Road, which involved a small white hatchback car at 23:45.
A 17-year-old boy was arrested and charged over the incident. He appeared at Falkirk Sheriff Court on Tuesday.
The force said an 18-year-old male was also arrested over the crash, but was released pending further inquiries.
Det Ch InspDavid MacGregor said: "Our thoughts are with Aaron鈥檚 family and friends at this difficult time.
"We will continue to support them as our investigations progress.
鈥淚 would like to reassure the public that we are doing all we can to understand the full circumstances of this incident."
