School locks down over incident at reception
A school went into lockdown after an incident was reported in its reception.
Breckland School in Brandon, Suffolk, sounded its alarm at about 09:45 BST on Friday.
In an email to parents, head of school Annabelle Culley-Tea said the site was locked down "to ensure the safety" of staff and students while the incident was dealt with.
Suffolk Police said no offences were committed and the school confirmed that no dangerous weapons were taken on site.
The site has since been confirmed as safe and lessons have resumed, the school added.
