An XL bully has been seized from a property in Worcester during a police operation targeting suspected drug dealers.
Along with the unregistered dog, two weapons and evidence of drug use were found at the address when officers smashed down a door on Tuesday, the West Mercia force said.
A 19-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of drugs offences and a 40-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of a public order offence, with investigations continuing.
A machete and syringes were among the finds, said police, adding a drugs-like substance recovered from the scene was due to be analysed.
PC Kelvin James said it was important for the community to see a police presence after receiving intelligence of drug dealing.
"It shows that we act on information that we've been given and it also gives that element that if there are things in your neighbourhood that you don't like, we'll act on it and do the best we can to stomp it out."
He added: "There is always an element of danger be that with weapons or sharp objects or needles and that is heightened with an XL bully being found in the property as you never know how they're going to act."
The force has promised, he stated, "if you're dealing drugs, we will come and find you".
