Eyes is a superb wetland habitat which lies next to the Manchester Ship Canal
and is virtually right underneath the M6 motorway.
This relatively new
reserve was created in the early 1980's. It's a great place for bird watching,
boasting elusive species such as the Black necked Grebe. | | | Wetlands are an absolute must for any self-respecting lover
of nature. They are fantastically rich in wildlife with star species including
otters and birds. | | | - Get involved in wetland bird watching, spot an otter
and go pond dipping for a great day out for the whole family.
