The Beep Sealsin their own words... Bonding over a mutual adoration of all things psychedelic and most of all melodic; earlier this year the Beeps formed and fled to the hills and to their underground bunker, intent on making an album as good as Clouds Taste Metallic by the Lips.

What We Think: | "If you like your Mancoustica, you’ll recognise the Beep Seals. If you’re not, you’ll know this five piece soon enough anyway, as their joyful harmonies and sunshine pop are about as perfect a soundtrack for the coming of summer as you’re going to get. There’s such a drift and wonder to their sound that they could have been called The Super Flaming Alfie. Whatever you want to call them, just lie back and drink it all in." Chris Long |
For a bunch of people so easily distracted, getting sidetracked has been a problem. Various members have been serving for their sins as Jim Noir's band, others have just been wondering and wandering around Chorlton Meadows looking for the answer. Thankfully recent months have seen plenty of 'buckling down' and extended periods of 'doing some work' culminating in a fine gaggle of songs and a smattering of live shows. As hoped/expected, reactions have varied between delirious and ecstatic with the average spectator discarding their old records, quitting their jobs and setting up camp outside the home of their favourite Beep. Brand spanking new label Kings & Creatures caught wind of them and promptly penned a deal offering untold riches and a place on their website. Dazzled by a drink each and some bus fare home, they signed away the rights to everything and to cut a long story short, ended up walking home. Their debut single 'Tell Your Friends/I Used To Work At The Zoo' is out on 9th April via Kings & Creatures Records.
