"It was really cool, very intense but I enjoyed it a lot. I had to have a couple of glasses of wine to calm the nerves though." According to your blog, it wasn't the happiest time for you. Was it hard to perform under such pressure? "I guess the wine worked wonders. I also had friends that supported me throughout the weekend." Red, Red Wine has a lot of sweet references. What do you think of sugary treats? "I adoooore them, as long as there is no gelatine… then I can eat hundreds!" | Lucy on her love of sweets |
"I adoooore them, as long as there is no gelatine… then I can eat hundreds!" High Voltage called you a 'female Jose Gonzales'. What do you think of that description? "Very flattering, he’s a legend. He’s such an incredible artist, almost as amazing as Doris Day!" There's quite a few female artists coming through Manchester's scene at the moment. Is it a good time to be a woman?
