Some thing police and public should do to help the situation:
1) Avoid carrying handbags/ luggage on the tube
2) Introduce compulsory screening of bags.
(randomly at some stations).
3) Introduce random screening at some stations.

AT THIS TIME PEOPLE FROM ALL OVER GLOBE REQUIRE UNITY TO FIGHT THIS BRUTAL TERRORISM.FOR THIS MUST JUSTIFY,SO THAT NO FURTHER HATERD IS SPREAD.MUST BRING OUT THE TRUTH, IT IS MUST FOR PEACE.
CJ
Why are people bombing London killing themselfs? If they wont justice then they should know the PEN is mightier than the SWORD.

we all need to come together and fight these twisted people! these violent attacks have only brought us British people together, we cant stop living our normal lives in the fear of this, its what these creatures want, there not human, we need to show them that we havent been scared and were not living in fear, we will be strong and we cant stop living our normal lives, if it involves trains, tubes, buses then so be it! carry on travelling, dont be afraid. London we will survive this and come out on top!

These bombing makes Londoner to loss their trust.
We have to be shoulder by shoulder.

Terrorists have No religion at all. They are the people who have been killing inncent Muslims in Afghanistan, Pakistan and Iraq and around the world. Islam and no other religion teaches such immoral acts at all. We have to curb and punish such organisations / Individuals. Moreover usa and western world must realize at the same time that they should address the core issues of the world politics.
Vince Ancaster, Ont. Canada
London must overcome these acts of terror. You are the example we teach our children in school, when they learn about WWII. They learn about a people that could not terrorized, by bombs.
Stand strong, and know that once again the thoughts and prayers of millions are with you.
An Parry
They picked the wrong people to try to terrorize. You didn't waiver in the face of 50-odd nights of Hitler's bombs, you're not likely to start now. Admiration and encouragement from the NYC area.

i'm sick of all the media circuses in london, especially the "london is united" false headlines, the voyeurism, the "send us your mobile pictures" mania.
i believe what happened earlier on is some sort of training/testing for something far more sombre to come. the ticket inspectors (not the conductors) we rarely see on buses should be operating a compulsory bag search of passengers before getting on the bus, who cares about the delay to get on the bus, safety is paramount. this is a commonplace policy in public places such as museums, libraries, even pubs, so why not buses.

Im really scared...i was caught up in central itself. all i saw was police, ambulances and fire brigades speeding and rushing past. i heard about this whilst walking past someone with the news on the radio. i was shocked, i couldnt believe it. i think to myself these attacks are so random, next time it could be me. i hope the police find out who these people are, coz this is frightening for all londeners.

What are you thinking??? If anything, it brings us closer together, not tear us apart!!
We have played 91Èȱ¬ London Radio all day in our shop and people walking by stopped, and we had conversations. Americans, Australians, Europeans (French, Germans, Spanish, Polish, Italians, and many other regions), Turkish, stood with us from time to time, and you could see tears form in some of those eyes and then relief when they heard that nobody had died. People were helping each other with finding alternative ways to reach their destination while the underground was suspended. There was a true community feeling, just that the community was from all over the place.
I love London, and whatever you do, you cannot defeat the spirit of my town.

Well, unlucky you foolish terrorists, it got you no where..Even if u do strike again..London will be ready for you..You won't break through to us..you will never succeed on ruining our lives, just your own, if you are willing to hand your life over to commit and heartbreaking, gruesome crime, go ahead..It will be pointless!!

I think these are the times that try mens soul's. Liberty and Freedom are dear to us. But they are not free. The West is not trying to fight Islam. We promote freedom of religion. We promote the value of man and his rights to determine what is best for him. These nut cases tht have decide to try and scare England and cowl America don't understand us at all. And they need to be destroyed. We all stand with London today.

even though nobody died or the bombs didnt go off..........this has placed a deeper fear inside my gut...

To the people of London and all of the UK..
Our hearts , thoughts, and prayers go out to each of you.
As the terrorists expand their efforts to hurt us all, we should expand and enhance our efforts to become stronger and united against these cowards!
News reports over here are saying that these bombs failed to completely explode (just the blasting caps went off)
I hope that man reportedly wearing the blue shirt with a hole & wires is found...
I find it pleasantly ironic that his dumb ass is the only reported injury !!
THANK GOD FOR STUPIDITY !!!

Fortunately I was not affected by today's events, apart from the delay in getting home from work. Two weeks ago I was within minutes of the Kings Cross underground attacks and since then my life has taken on a new meaning. Each and every day feels more precious and important to me than before, and I now I feel I appreciate the true value of our way of life here in the UK.
As I now travel across London by Bus or by walking (if I have the time), I get to see what I previously couldn't see whilst travelling underground, and I am truly amazed at how beautiful and overwhelming London really is. We live in an amazing city which most of us take for granted, a city that is so diverse in it's people, and so strong in its character, a city rich with history yet a city at the height of modernity and vibrance.
Whilst many of us do not have the choice as to whether we continue to commute in and around London, we must take pride in ourselves for our courage, we must learn from these experiences and take what positive we can find from these tragic events.
Defying these acts of cruely like this one today or those of 7/7, by simply continuing to go about our daily lives is one thing, but change is sometimes a good thing. If, like me, you find yourselves worrying about travelling on the underground or on buses, then simply leave a little earlier and walk or cycle, see London in all it's beauty, feel life running through your veins as you not only gain a healthier lifestyle by cycling or walking, but gain a sense of what London is to you, find out what you love about it or what you have simply forgotten or have never seen before. Try to understand that many of your thoughts and ideas about London are likely to be shared by others around you and all over London as you commute to and from work.
If you can't avoid the buses and the tube then let us try to make something positive from all this by simply smiling to others as they pass, saying hello to the people around us, and being polite and courtious as we travel. Let us talk to each other and get to know others around us, find out who they are, what they like to do and how they feel. From this we will then understand that we all travel in fear in these difficult times, that we are all in the same position and that by communicating with each other and working together we can help to avoid future events like this and go towards making London a friendlier and more social place to be and keeping London as one of the greatest city's on earth and only then will we truely feel that we have gained from these sad acts.

I am totally apalled at ANYONE for WHATEVER reason terrorising innocent civilians in this manner, whether it be emotionally, mentally and physically. The point is these people have NO SANCTION or justification, religiously, morally, ethically, practically to undertake these heinous and unforgivable acts.
As muslims we are told in our own Qur'an which we take and believe as the literal word of God, never take (kill) one life...as it is the same as killing ALL life itself; and if you save a life it is also as if you had saved all life itself.
These alleged "Muslims" sanctioning these terror acts are not only so far removed from Islam that they exhult in their own schism and deification, that the word ISLAM (meaning peace and submission to One God) does not even apply to them - not even in the slightest

I am very surprise with this incident which has occurred within two weeks.
The previous wound is not cured yet and then again. What the hell the
security services doing. Are we gonna blaim Alqaeda again or it is our fault
to secure this country. If you ask me about this incident, I would say there
is some thing suspicious behind it. Either conspiracy or some politics. The
time will reveal what happened but it seems the similar incident and similar
tactic. Various news refelct very strange outcome. God Bless UK Only I can
hope.
